This course gives you an introduction to the bricklaying world, it gives you a taste of the work involved and includes access to tests required for a CSCS card. During your time on this course, you will work towards a recognised qualification by NOCN.

What you will learn
- Health, safety, and welfare in construction
- Building a block
- Building a brick wall
- Mixing materials safe handling methods
In addition, you will have the opportunity to undertake a health and safety test that enables you to successfully completion alongside the CSCS test apply for a five-year card

In a realistic work environment, our purpose-built workshops are equipped with the tools and equipment needed.
Additional Info
Learners will be allowed to carry out an attempt at the CSCS leading to a five-year card. They will however have to travel to Swadlincote to take the CSCS test, transport can be arranged at an additional £30 cost to the Swadlincote Centre for taking the CSCS test.
